Who we are
Founded in 2016 Wythenshawe foodbank has now grown to having 4 centers across Wythenshawe. Unfortunately, as the years have gone on we've seen demand increase every year. We have now fed over 8400 adults and over 6681 children distributing 156548kg worth of food.
We are led by a board of trustees. With the day running of the foodbank led by Tom Allan and Karl McDonald.
Tom Allan
I’m Tom the food bank manager, I’m passionate about helping people and getting to know new people. You’ll see me around our foodbank centers and on the other end of the phone when you ring.
Karl Mcdonald
My responsibilities are running the hub and sorting the donations. You’ll often find me at the sorting hub or on the road delivering food to our centers or collecting donations. I enjoy getting to know our wonderful volunteers at the hub and have a chat and a brew.
